In this course, participants will learn the tools and techniques to develop or enhance an all-hazard emergency operations plan (EOP).

The following key topics are discussed:

• The Planning Process
• Format and Function
• Threat, Hazard Identification Risk Analysis (THIRA)
• Comprehensive Planning Guide (CPG 101)
• Planning Issues and Challenges
• Training and Exercises
• Practical Activity to Develop and EOP Outline

Emergency Management Specialist Certificate:
This course meets one of the requirements for the State OES/CSTI Emergency Management Specialist Certificate.
